Default Headphones for my PS3

Hi guys

Wanted your input on what the best options are for headphones on my PS3. Can I go Bluetooth, and if so what can I get? Price is a bit of an issue too...

I await your feedback...

General Experience has been that most Bluetooth headsets should work. So you can get anyone that will work on you phone.

I cant think of anything to recommend except maybe the official sony headset. But you can get a cheap one it should work as well.

What will the use of the headphones be? To use as a multiplayer headset for gaming or to use as an alternative to speakers for late night audio in gaming. If it's for online gaming, then any Bluetooth headset will work, but I also recommend the Sony Offical headset. The Bluetooth headsets only work for mono audio chatting.

It is basically as alternative to speakers as the game audio is sometimes troubling to the softness. Reason for asking about bluetooth is to not have wires all over the show. And I was also thinking more in terms of headphones, and not bluetooth headsets, because you are then limited to mono...

The Bluetooth headset is only for ingame chat, nothing more. For an alternative to your speakers, you will have to go with something like a Wired Headset into your amp or like what I've done, a Wireless pair of Sennheiser headphones. I keep the PS3 connected via Optical to the Amp and use the Stereo Jacks on the AV cable for the Headphones.
